I am not a guru.

In fact, I don’t make my living online.  I’m a lawyer practicing in Austin, Texas.

I do get quite a bit of business for my law practice from my various websites, but in the interest of full disclosure, I will give you a bit of my history.

I was graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in business.  I went straight to law school at the University of Texas and graduated in 1995.

I didn’t like law school.  I started a computer business while in law school and ran it for seven years.  It grew to have over $1.6 million in sales but I was burnt out on retail (email me before you decide to open a retail store).

I then started Software Factory with the idea of creating a web service for non-profits.  I got sidetracked and created SupportChat.Net.  It sold well, but not well enough, so I did what I never expected to do and that was to start to practice law.

Today, my law practice is successful but I still rely on the internet to gain new clients.  I am constantly seeking new methods to add income on all my sites, my clients’ sites (I do some website development for clients), and new ways to generate passive income.

Bottom line - I have real world business experience, some top ranked web sites, and don’t rely on income from this site to make a living - so you’ll always get the straight scoop here.

Cheers,

Andrew
